I wanted more back story on everyone. The tone needed to be slowed down. I believe this way the author would have more time to set up the story and explain. For example, I didn't know drake and old girl got together until a small line was introduced in there. Like what. When and how. Everything felt rushed. Also, to find out the guy who was beating her ass, gets to live happily ever after in the second book. I will not be purchasing part two. Sorry but not sorryProduct details

This book was amazing .
Already payed for the second one and can't wait to see what's about to happen.
Great book, this book is a must read, it is full of surprises and keeps you hooked until the end. I loved reading about the characters and their backgrounds. Reno was a force to be reckoned with, because of the things he witnessed as a young child and his father's denial of the issues his son is struggling with. Nina has had a difficult life herself that lands her with Reno and things don't turn out the way one would hope. I fell in love with Drake and how he was such a great support system for Nina. This book had such a great story line and I was sad when I got to the end, because I wanted to find out more about the characters and their outcomes. I am on pins and needles waiting for part two. As always I love reading about my home state of Arkansas. I really enjoy this local author Veronica Malone and now have a new appreciation for A.J. Write. Keep up the great work ladies.
I loved this book and Nina had me frustrated at the end! I can't believe she told Reno's sisters her location! Please let drake be OK!
I don't know why Nina thought Reno's sisters wouldn't tell him where she was. Good read. Ready to dive in part two..
This book was better than I expected. I can't believe Nina stayed with Reno dog button through all his abuse and cheating but she finally got happiness when she got the courage to leave with Drake the good guy. Can't wait til part 2 comes out
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this! It was well written, full of drama, and had my literally speaking out loud as the story unfolded. I'm definitely a new fan, and will just bought the sequel so I can see what happens next
It was like deja vu. The story line seemed over done and I swear I've read a book similar to this. Blind by Kioshi or The Lies We Tell Ourselves by Jackie Chanel. I'm on the fence about part 2.
